The SIN exceeds the collection goal by 7.7%
The National Tax Service (SIN) informed that the Tax Administration exceeded 7.7% of the Internal Market (IM) collection goal in April 2021. The collection goal was Bs 4.8 billion ($689.23 mn), and the SIN collected Bs 5.17 billion ($742.61 mn).
Arica-La Paz railroad section reopened with the arrival of 430 tons of cargo
A cargo of 430 tons of steel coils will arrive from Chile. Then, from La Paz, 416 tons of soybeans will export. The pilot test will help both countries to establish a permanent trade route.
Three million cattle to be vaccinated against foot-and-mouth disease
The National Agricultural Health and Food Safety Service (Senasag) informed that it would vaccinate more than three million cattle will against foot and mouth disease with the start of immunization in different areas of the department of Santa Cruz. Vaccination began on May 3 and will conclude on June 16. It contributes to maintaining animal health and the commercialization of animals.
Bolivia joins the World Energy Council
The World Energy Council (WEC) will present May 12 the brand new Bolivian Energy Committee, in a virtual event where speakers from Bolivia, Chile, Colombia and the WEC headquarters in London will participate. WEC is a leading organization in energy transition management on the planet, founded in 1923 and present in more than 80 countries. The national committee will be led by the director and general manager of Quantum Motors Industries, José Carlos Márquez.
