Up to February 28 of this year, financial institutions accepted the request for refinancing and rescheduling of 19,440 deferred loans for a value of $529 million. The grace period is six months for rescheduling and refinancing loans, without payment of interest or principal, and was approved in December 2020, benefiting all sectors.

La Paz accounts for 51.9% of IGF revenues
More than half of the collection of 159.3 million Bolivianos ($22.85 mn) of the Large Fortunes Tax (IGF) obtained by the National Tax Service (SIN) in La Paz. A total of 182 people registered for payment. After La Paz, people with a fortune over Bs 30 million from Santa Cruz contributed 38.6%, Cochabamba 5.1% and Beni 2.9%.
Government invests $2.15 million to reactivate the Envibol plant
The state-owned industrial plant Envases de Vidrio de Bolivia (Envibol) reactivated operations in its two production lines with an investment of 15 million bolivianos ($2.12 mn), new contracts and export projects.
BDP expects to increase its lending by 29% in 2021
The Banco de Desarrollo Productivo (BDP) intends to increase its loan portfolio to the country's productive sectors by 29% this year. Nineteen state-owned companies owe $6.07 mn to the Central Bank
Public companies will continue to be the spearhead of the Government, which during the first two months of its administration, channelled, through the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB), the disbursement of Bs 402 million ($57.67 mn) in credits in favour of strategic public companies. Until December 2020, according to BCB data, a total of 19 public companies owe Bs 42,328 million ($6.07 mn) to the State.
The SIN collects $22.85 million from the Tax on Large Fortunes
According to data from the National Tax Service (SIN), up to March 31, 182 people had already registered to pay the Tax on Large Fortunes (IGF), which generated an income for the General Treasury of the Nation (TGN) of Bs 159.3 million ($22.85 mn).
