Domestic debt shot up by 38.1% amid the pandemic

During the pandemic, the internal debt of the National Treasury (TGN) increased by 38.1%, from Bs 44.27 billion in 2019 ($6.35 billion) to Bs 61.15 billion ($8.77 billion) in 2020, according to data from the Ministry of the Economy.
