Bolivia is in contact with Brazil and Argentina to review the gas agreements with the two countries. According the Hydrocarbons Minister, Luis Alberto Sanchez, said that the negotiations will impact on the volume of shipments but it can be expected that the prices will not change. However, regional authorities in Bolivia feared that the new contracts will have a negative impact on royalties.

ECLAC: Commerce with China contributed to de-industrialisation of Latin America
China's high demand of raw materials has contributed to the de-industrialisation in Latin America, warned the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribean (ECLAC). According to Zebulun Kreiter, ECLAC's Economic Affairs expert, the situation in Bolivia is one of the most acute because 95% of the exports to China are raw material.
Drastic reduction on Bolivia’s gas production
Bolivia's gas production has fell from about 54-55 million cubic meters per day to 37 million, which represents a decrease of about one third, alerted regional authorities in Santa Cruz.
October’s inflation in Bolivia reached 0.18%
Bolivia registered an inflation of 0.18% in October. Annualised inflation reached 1.31% according to the State National Statistics Institute (INE).
“Bolivia could agree on reducing gas exports to Argentina “
The Bolivian Government is considering reducing the volumes of gas exported to Argentina but it also expected an extension of the contract until 2030. Bolivia's Hydrocarbons minister, Luis Alberto Sanchez, confirmed that new volumes are being negotiated but this will imply that the contract will not end in 2026 but in 2030.
“Bolivia and Paraguay analyse construction of gas pipeline “
Bolivia and Paraguay will analyse the possibility of building a gas pipeline between the two countries. Bolivia's Hydrocarbon Minister, Luis Alberto Sanchez and Paraguay's Public Works Minister, Arnoldo Wiens Duersen, signed a memorandum of understanding that includes the development of a feasibility study for the construction of the pipeline.
